Apprentice or Skilled Artisan Baker

We currently have a fantastic career development opportunity working within our bakery here in Marsden. We specialise in baking organic long-fermentation and sourdough breads; these are very different to the majority of the baked breads available in supermarkets and keep well taste better and are more easily digested than mass-produced breads We also produce various sweet pastries and buns etc. The right candidate will have a passion for the baking industry and retain an interest in the science of creating perfect artisan breads and patisserie. The nature of the industry requires commitment and enthusiasm from the individual who can work within a team and manage early morning work patterns – initially beginning at 6.00am but importantly an anticipated earlier 5am start after the completion of the apprenticeship. It will be a demanding but rewarding role within a busy, challenging but passionate environment and so, a high level of professional standard and presentation is required. Qualifications Required • GCSE passes in English & Maths with a desirable Science qualification or equivalents

Part Time / Holiday Cover Driver

Multidrop driver required , for delivering bread and pastries direct to customers.  Delivering mainly around Huddersfield, Halifax and the surrounding areas, Saddleworth, Oldham and Failsworth.

You would be required to load your own van and carry bread trays by hand into cafes, Restaurants, Pubs, Shops and Hotels.

A good demena is essential for dealing with our lovely customers.

Would suit a retired Individual due to the flexibilty in hours required.
