They offer a wide variety of organic and specialty flours, all of which are made from high-quality ingredients. Shipton Mill has been committed to sustainability since its founding in 1979. RISE

Eurostar are based in West Yorkshire and have been supplying manufacturers and food services businesses for over thirty years with a wide range of dry and ambient ingredients.  Working in conjunction with The Green Farm Collective, they have now bought a regen flour to the market.

RISE regen flour is unique in that it is milled from 100% British grown wheat, on farms that are farmed entirely regeneratively.  Regenerative farming works to improve the health and biodiversity of the soil, with farming practices that help to ensure that the naturally occurring carbon remains in the soil, rather than being released into the atmosphere as occurs in conventional farming methods.

The resulting flour allows for better hydration and a longer proof.  This allows the flavour of the dough to develop fully, resulting in delicious bread.

What is Regenerative Flour?

“Regenerative flour is a term used to describe flour produced using regenerative agricultural practices. Regenerative agriculture is an approach to farming that focuses on improving soil health, biodiversity, and ecosystem resilience while also sequestering carbon from the atmosphere. By adopting regenerative practices, farmers aim to enhance the health and vitality of the soil, which, in turn, improves the nutritional quality of the crops they grow. By supporting regenerative agriculture, individuals can contribute to the restoration of ecosystems, carbon sequestration, and the creation of a more sustainable food system.”
